Shum Hong Kuen

Shum Hong Kuen is the current Executive Director at SJM Holdings. Shum previously worked as the CFO Greater China at GE Plastics from December 2005 to March 2007. Afterwards, they became the Partner of Private Equity until August 2020. Lastly, they were the CFO, Executive Director, and Executive Vice President at Sands China Limited from November 2009 to April 2016.

SJM Holdings Ltd is a developer, owner, and operator of integrated resorts and casinos in Macau. The company is an operator of integrated resorts in Macau, which contain not only gaming areas but also meeting space, convention and exhibition halls, retail and dining areas, and entertainment venues. Sands China operates in five segments: Sands Macao, The Venetian Macao, the Plaza Macao, Sands Cotai Central, Ferry and other operations, and Other developments. Sands Macao, The Venetian Macao, the Plaza Macao, Sands Cotai Central and Other developments derive their revenue primarily from casino, hotel, food and beverage, mall, convention, retail and others sources. Shum Hong Kuen has a Master in BA from The University of Queensland, a B.Commerce in Accounting & Finance from Murdoch University, and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.
