Elín Þórunn Eiríksdóttir

Elín Þórunn Eiríksdóttir is the managing director of the claims division. The division handles claims registration, settlement of claims, compensation decisions, claims review, claims planning and legal services. Elín is a Cand.Oecon. in Business Administration from the University of Iceland in 1993. She was previously Director of Sales and Consulting at Sjóvár from 2012 and later Business Development and Operations and Development. She was the Managing Director of the Corporate Banking Division and the director of the sales units of Síminn hf. 2006-2010. Elín worked for Hf. Eimskipafélag Íslands 1997-2005 for the longest time as director of sales units. Elín has held various positions of trust, and has served on the boards of Valitors hf., Síminn hf., Radíómiðun ehf. and Staka Automation ehf. Elín owns 0.063% of the company.
