Elin Åkerlund

Elin Malveholm is an experienced leader in offshore safety and project management, currently serving as the Leader Offshore Safety at Equinor since April 2016, where responsibilities include advising on safety in operations and maintenance. Previously, Elin held multiple roles at Statoil from June 2010 to June 2019, including Senior Engineer Operations, where planning and leading offshore operations were key tasks, and Project Leader for the Veslefrikk Tail-End Strategy Project aimed at extending the life of offshore installations. Additionally, Elin has served as Chairman of Young in Statoil Bergen and has a background in financial analysis and performance management. Elin holds an M.B.A. in Strategic Marketing & Knowledge Management and a BBA from Lund University, along with additional education at Malmö University and the University of Cambridge.
