Eddie Ansell

Eddie Ansell has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of editorial and content management. Eddie most recently worked as the Head of Editorial EMEA at SJR, where they have been since August 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Creative Content Director & Editor at SJR from February 2018 to August 2020. Eddie also held the role of Senior Editor at SJR from June 2017 to February 2018. Before joining SJR, Eddie was a self-employed freelance consultant and writer from March 2016 to May 2017. Eddie worked as the Managing Editor at Finance Information Group from March 2015 to February 2016. Eddie's earlier experience includes working at Press Association as the Editor-in-chief, Finance Publications from June 2011 to February 2015, and at SatelliteFinance as the Editor of SatelliteFinance magazine from May 2008 to February 2015. Prior to that, they were the Editor of MediaFinance at Press Association from March 2008 to November 2010. Throughout their career, Eddie has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managed teams and freelancers, and played key roles in the development of websites and magazines. Eddie has also organized and spoken at international conferences in the TMT sector.

Eddie Ansell attended The University of Manchester from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a 2:1 BA Hons degree in History and Economics. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Sevenoaks School from 1990 to 1997. In terms of additional certifications, Eddie obtained the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Fundamentals certification from LinkedIn in February 2023.
