Caroline Whiteley

Caroline Whiteley is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as the Chief Finance Officer at SKA Observatory since June 2020, Caroline has held multiple significant positions at STA Travel from November 2013 to June 2020, including Head of Finance for Global Air and Land Accounting and Finance Systems Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Finance Manager and Management Accountant at Ogilvy PR Australia, and a brief tenure as a Financial Accountant at PayPal. Caroline began their career as an Auditor at Grant Thornton UK LLP. An alumna of The University of Sheffield, Caroline holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Criminology, completed in 2005.
