Heather Smith

Heather Smith is an experienced administration professional with a strong background in providing executive support. Currently serving as Administration Manager and Executive Assistant to the Director-General at SKA Observatory since September 2019, Heather previously held positions at Cygnet Group Ltd from December 2014 to September 2019 as Executive Assistant to the CEO/Owner, and Executive Assistant to the CEO and Board of Directors. Prior to Cygnet Group, Heather worked at Capgemini from February 2004 to December 2014, supporting two Senior Vice Presidents and gaining experience across various business functions. Heather began their career as Assistant to the Facilities Manager, contributing to facility administration and account management. Heather holds a 1st Class honors degree in Multimedia Technology from Birmingham City University, earned between 2001 and 2006.
