Ryan Leadbetter

Ryan Leadbetter is a seasoned procurement professional and mindfulness facilitator with extensive experience in both the ICT and mindfulness training sectors. Currently serving as the Procurement Lead (Senior Contract Specialist) at SKA Observatory since March 2021, Ryan has been instrumental in the end-to-end procurement processes for high-performance computing architecture and software development. Previously, Ryan founded the Mindful Workplace Hive in 2022, focusing on enhancing workplace resilience and emotional intelligence through mindfulness practices. With prior roles including Mindfulness Trainer, Buyer, and Electrical Buyer at Bentley Motors, and an educational background comprising a BA in Business Management from The University of Sheffield and an MSc in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management from The University of Salford, Ryan brings a unique blend of procurement expertise and mindfulness advocacy to the professional landscape.
