Morten Baun

Morten Baun has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Morten began their career at KPMG, where they worked as an Assistant Manager for six years. In 2004, they joined Vestas and held various finance roles, including Senior Finance Specialist, Director of Regional Business Performance Management in APAC, and Senior Director of Finance for Vestas Power Solutions & CIM. During their tenure at Vestas, they led teams, provided financial analysis and support to senior executives, and played a crucial role in performance management, strategy processes, and financial modeling. Their accomplishments include stabilizing and developing the controller function, optimizing supply chain performance, and implementing critical tools for credit assessments. In 2018, Morten Baun joined Skamol as the Chief Financial Officer.

Morten Baun received their Diploma in Finance, Legal, and Organization from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 1998 to 2002. Later in 2004, they pursued further education and completed their degree of Cand.merc. Aud in Accounting and Finance at Syddank Universitet (Kolding).
