Sonja Haastrup Merrild

Sonja Haastrup Merrild has extensive experience in operational excellence and research, currently serving as the Operational Excellence Project Manager and R&D specialist at Skamol since April 2015. Prior to this role, Sonja worked in customer service at Eurofins Miljø from August 2014 to March 2015, and held various positions at Aalborg University, including a student advisor from August 2011 to December 2013 and a student from September 2009 to June 2014. Sonja holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, which was obtained from Aalborg University between 2015 and 2018, as well as a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2014. Additional educational experience includes a brief period at the University of Saskatchewan in 2012.
