Andres Kao

Andres Kao is a Senior Automation Engineer at Skellig, having progressed through various leadership roles since joining in March 2020, including OEM Lead for Project C at Merck Durham and Upstream Automation Lead for Project Falcon at Sanofi Genzyme Framingham. Prior to this, Andres worked at Emerson Automation Solutions as a Senior Process Automation Engineer, where responsibilities included collaborating with process engineers and project managers to meet critical project milestones. At Baxter Healthcare, Andres held several positions, including Automation Engineer and Manufacturing Associate, focusing on process control maintenance and production operations while adhering to stringent GMP and EHS regulations. Andres holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and an A.S. in Engineering from Pasadena City College.
