Sarah Alfano

Sarah’s interest in work that supports community efforts focused on environmental protection and land revitalization brought her to Skeo in 2010. She has worked extensively with EPA Region 4’s Land, Chemicals and Redevelopment Division, supporting areas including sustainable materials management, pollution prevention, Brownfields redevelopment and chemical safety. Sarah also manages work highlighting EPA enforcement successes/challenges at blighted properties across the country, building on her experience with EPA’s Superfund Redevelopment Program (SRP) and EPA’s Technical Assistance Services for Communities (TASC) program, exploring the safe and beneficial reuse and redevelopment of Superfund sites.
