Mathieu Willaert

Mathieu Willaert is a seasoned Safety Engineer with extensive experience in the aviation sector. Currently employed at skeyes since September 2016, Mathieu focuses on assessing safety-related changes, investigating ATM-specific occurrences, and developing the Safety Management System. Prior to this role, Mathieu served as a Safety Engineer at the Belgian Supervising Authority for Air Navigation Services from January 2011 to September 2016, where responsibilities included oversight, safety-related change reviews, and auditing activities related to air navigation service providers. Mathieu holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed in 2009 and 2007, respectively, along with foundational education from Klein Seminarie Roeselare from 1997 to 2003.
