Xin Jin

Xin Jin has extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Xin Jin started their career as a Design Engineer at the Shanghai Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering in 1992. They then worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at URACO Die Casting Co. Pte Ltd. in 1996. From 1997 to 1999, Xin Jin was a Quality Manager at ACME Medical Devices Co. Pte, Ltd, where they played a vital role in obtaining ISO accreditation and driving a quality culture.

In 1999, Xin Jin joined GE Aviation, where they held various roles including Sourcing Quality Manager, Six Sigma & NPI Leader, and Sr. Customer Program Manager. They were responsible for improving suppliers' quality and technical performance, driving process improvement, and establishing strong relationships with Chinese airline customers.

In 2006, Xin Jin joined GE Oil & Gas as a Sourcing Leader, where they established a sourcing, procurement, and supplier development organization in China. They then moved to Honeywell Aerospace in 2009 and held multiple positions, including Director of Supply Chain Strategy & Transition, Director of APAC Business Development, General Manager, and Vice President of Strategic Sourcing. At Honeywell Aerospace, Xin Jin led various activities such as developing and executing transition projects, driving cost reduction initiatives, and managing sourcing and procurement operations in the APAC region.

Before joining their current position as Vice President at SKF Group in 2021, Xin Jin served as a Managing Partner at Shanghai Shugong Technology Co., Ltd from 2019 to 2021.

Xin Jin has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School, obtained in 2006. Additionally, Xin Jin has another MBA degree in Business Management from Fudan University, also obtained in 2006. Xin Jin completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology from 1988 to 1992. Xin Jin also holds various certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt from GE Aviation in 2004, GE Qualified Six Sigma DMAIC instructor from GE Aviation in 2003, and AS9100 Leader Auditor from Bureau Veritas Group in 2002.
