Mike Alvidrez

Mike Alvidrez has extensive work experience in the field of affordable housing and homelessness. Mike started their career as a Project Manager at the Community Corporation of Santa Monica from 1983 to 1990. Afterward, they joined the Skid Row Housing Trust, where they held various roles including Director of Property Management and Resident Services from 1995 to 2004, Executive Director from 2004 to 2015, and currently as the Chief Executive Officer since 2015. Throughout their career, Mike has been dedicated to providing innovative housing solutions and support to homeless and low-income individuals.

Mike Alvidrez earned a Bachelor's degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from California State University-Dominguez Hills in 1981. Mike then pursued a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at UCLA, which they completed between 1981 and 1983.
