Hernán Ballard

Hernán Ballard serves as the Expedition Manager for Ellen Magellan Expeditions, overseeing marketing and operations for a global rowing circumnavigation attempt since July 2023. In addition, Hernán Ballard is a Direct Support Professional at Skill Creations Inc., providing caregiving for patients with disabilities. As President of Nottingham Cooperative from January 2023, Hernán Ballard has focused on affordable housing initiatives and revitalizing Madison’s music scene. Hernán Ballard also manages a bed-and-breakfast in Cedar Park, Texas, and operates as a freelance videographer, providing comprehensive video production services for notable clients. Previous roles include Fleet Management at UW-Madison, Housing Developer for Zapata Cooperative, Lead Moving Specialist at Badger Brothers Moving, and In-Car Recruiter for Lyft. Hernán Ballard graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, English, and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2023.
