Cory Gibson

Cory Gibson has extensive work experience in various industries. Cory started their career as a Rental Coordinator at H&E Equipment Services, where they developed efficient dispatching techniques and implemented outbound call strategies. Cory then served in the U.S. Army for almost a decade, participating in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During their time in the army, Cory demonstrated strong leadership skills and received numerous awards and accolades. After their military service, they founded GibsonCyberSecurity and worked as a CEO and Cybersecurity Consultant, providing consulting services in the cybersecurity realm and expanding into leadership consulting. Following this, Cory joined Contech Engineered Solutions as an Employee, before moving on to Learn on Demand Systems as a Technical Services Support employee and later as a Tier 2 employee. Cory also worked at Skillable as a Customer Success Manager and currently serves as a Solution Engineer. Additionally, Cory pursued higher education at ECPI University and ITT Technical Institute as a student.

Cory Gibson's education history began in 1996 when they enrolled at Newfound Regional High School, where they earned a high school diploma in the field of High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. After completing their high school education in the year 2000, they further pursued their academic journey in the field of Computer Science.

In 2013, Cory attended ITT Technical Institute-Durham, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator. This program allowed him to gain knowledge and skills in managing and maintaining networking systems.

Continuing their interest in the field of computer science, Cory decided to pursue further education at ECPI University from 2016 to 2018. During this period, they studied Cyber and Network Security, specializing in the security aspects of computer networks.

In addition to their academic achievements, Cory has acquired several certifications to enhance their skill set. In January 2020, they obtained the "Challenge explorer" certification from Learn on Demand Systems. Later in the following month, they successfully completed five hands-on labs to earn the "Challenge Seeker" certification from the same institution. Most recently, in September 2022, Cory acquired the "25 Million Labs Launched" certification from Skillable.
