Ulrich Scharf has a wealth of experience in sustainability and business. Ulrich began their career in 2005 as a Bankkaufmann at Commerzbank AG. In 2010, they became the Sustainability Project Coordinator & Co-Founder at Maastricht University Green Office, where they coordinated numerous sustainability projects and helped to improve the model and shape its strategic direction. In 2012, they joined GRESB as Director IT & Analytics, and was responsible for assessing the sustainability performance of real assets globally. That same year, they also co-founded rootAbility, a social business that drives the sustainability transition of the European higher education sector. In 2018, they founded Skilllab and became Managing Director.
Ulrich Scharf attended Maastricht University School of Business and Economics from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Ulrich then continued their studies at the same university, receiving a Master of Science in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations in 2012. Prior to that, Scharf completed a Bankkaufmann program at Commerzbank AG from 2005 to 2008.
