Adam Hawkins

Adam Hawkins has extensive work experience in the field of site reliability engineering. Adam started their career at RadiumCRM, where they served as a Lead Developer from 2011 to 2015. Adam then joined SemaphoreCI as a Content Writer from 2016 to 2017. Adam also worked as a Teacher at Cloud Academy, Inc. during the same period.

In 2017, they founded their own consulting company called Slashdeploy Consulting. From 2013 to 2017, Adam worked at Saltside as an SRE Team Lead, managing online marketplaces in underserved markets.

Adam joined Skillshare in 2019 as a Site Reliability Engineer and later became the Director of Site Reliability Engineering in July 2022. Adam is currently employed at Skillshare, overseeing site reliability engineering duties.

Additionally, Adam has a podcast called Small Batches, where they serve as a host. The podcast started in 2020 and is ongoing. Overall, Adam has a diverse background in the fields of software development, teaching, and site reliability engineering.

Adam Hawkins attended San Jose State University from 2008 to 2011, studying Computer Software Engineering. However, they dropped out of the program when they found work.
