Maria Otworowska

Maria Otworowska has a diverse work experience. Maria founded Skin Bliss in 2018, a mobile app that provides skincare recommendations and routine tracking based on an AI beauty engine. In 2020, they participated in the Sephora Accelerate EME program where they received mentorship and business guidance. Prior to that, Maria worked as a Data Scientist at King from 2019 to 2020. Maria also served as a PhD Candidate at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, they were a member of the organization committee for the Benelux AI Conference in 2014 and worked as a contributing editor for an independent medium for students from 2009 to 2010.

Maria Otworowska completed their education in the field of Cognitive Science. Maria obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Computational Cognitive Science from Radboud University, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Cognitive Science from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, spanning the years 2008 to 2013. In 2012, they attended the VLTP-IBRO Summer School at Jagiellonian University to gain further knowledge in Neuroscience. Maria also participated in an Erasmus Exchange program at Università di Catania from 2010 to 2011, focusing on Psychology.
