Carmelo Lorefice

Carmelo Lorefice has extensive work experience in design and teaching roles. Carmelo is currently the Head of Design at Skuola Network srl, a position they have held since January 2018. Before that, from 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Creative and Visual Designer for the UX Team at Expedia, Inc. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Teacher at Mands MasterAndSkills. From 2006 to 2012, Carmelo served as an Art Director at HUB.NET. Additionally, they have previous teaching experience, having worked as a Teacher at Istituto Professionale Cine-TV "ROBERTO ROSSELLINI" in 2008 and Istituto Professionale statale "Virginia Woolf" from 2007 to 2008. Carmelo's career began as a Graphic Designer at Acrobats from 2004 to 2006.

Carmelo Lorefice's education history begins in 1995 when they enrolled at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Carmelo completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation in 2002.

In 2002, Carmelo attended the Centro Studi Comunicazione Cogno & Associati and participated in a master program in multimedia art direction and graphic/web design. Carmelo completed this program in 2004.

In 2012, Carmelo attended Creative Park Srl and completed a "Persuasive Web Marketing Seminar." This seminar provided education on the fundamentals of persuasion, the psychology of the user, the process of conversion, and NeuroWebMarketing.

In 2015, Carmelo participated in a TNOOZ Free Webinar, though the field of study or degree obtained from this webinar is not specified.

Additionally, Carmelo has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they received certifications in UX Management: Strategy and Tactics and Design Thinking from The Interaction Design Foundation. Carmelo also obtained the Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certifications from IBM. In September 2020, they obtained a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation.
