Daniel Meßmer

Dr. Daniel Meßmer advises nationally and internationally operating clients in all areas of IT law. He specializes in implementing software-based and cloud-based business models, in particular the drafting, negotiating, and interpreting of contracts.

In addition to traditional IT contract law, Dr. Daniel Meßmer has particular expertise in the use of open-source software. He is a co-author of the Bitkom guide “Open-Source-Software – Rechtliche Grundlagen und Handlungshinweise“ [“Open Source Software – Legal Basis and Guidelines for Action”]. Dr. Daniel Meßmer also advises companies on the legal requirements for the IT security of infrastructures and networks.
