Chris Major

Chris Major currently serves as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Sky New Zealand, a position held since September 2013, in addition to roles as Director of External Affairs and Director of Government Relations. Alongside this, Chris has been a Director at The Blues since February 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Marketing and Communications Director at The Treasury, where responsibilities included marketing for the Mighty River Power and Meridian IPOs, and as a Senior Advisor for the Rugby World Cup at New Zealand Parliament. Previous roles also encompass Communications Manager at New Zealand Treasury, Marketing Manager at Chapman Tripp, and Consultant at Network Public Relations. Chris holds educational qualifications from Victoria University of Wellington and Epsom Girls Grammar.
