Brandon Best

Brandon Best currently serves as the VP and General Counsel at Sky River Casino, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this, Brandon was the SVP of Legal & Human Resources and General Counsel at Maverick Gaming from August 2019 to March 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as Deputy General Counsel and Associate General Counsel at Aruze Gaming from December 2013 to July 2019. Brandon's legal career began with positions such as Legislative Assistant at the National Home Performance Council and Summer Legal Associate at Sodexo in 2010, along with a legal externship at Sullivan & Worcester LLP. Brandon also served as a Summer Law Clerk for the Honorable Herman C. Dawson at Prince George's County Circuit Court. Earlier roles include Market Research Analyst at Dawnbreaker, Inc. and various internships in financial services and compensation at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Carrier Corporation respectively. Brandon holds a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester (2007).
