John Santry

John Santry is the current Vice President of Sales for the SLED Sector at Skydio. Prior to joining Skydio, John was the Director of Enterprise Solutions at Kittyhawk from December 2018 to November 2020 where they provided subject matter expertise and market intelligence on the design and implementation of drone defense technologies, drone operations, and consumer preferences to clients in the commercial, industrial, and security industries. Prior to their time at Kittyhawk, John was a Council Member and sUAS Subject Matter Expert at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) from January 2016 to December 2018. At GLG, John provided subject matter expertise and market intelligence on the design and implementation of drone defense technologies, drone operations, and consumer preferences to clients in the commercial, industrial, and security industries. Before joining GLG, John was a Sr. Partner and UAS Flight Operations Director at Revolutionary Unmanned Systems LLC from January 2014 to November 2018. Prior to their time at Revolutionary Unmanned Systems LLC, John was a SIGINT Mission Specialist at General Atomics Reconnaissance Systems Group from March 2012 to August 2012. Before joining General Atomics Reconnaissance Systems Group, John was a Deployed Operations Manager and UAS Mission Coordinator at Insitu, Inc. from January 2012 to December 2014.

John Santry has an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an Associate of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. John is also certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Remote Pilot, by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as an MBA, by Naval Special Warfare as an Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist (EXW) and UAS Mission Coordinator, by Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) as a Distributed Ground Station - Special Operations Forces (DSG-SOF), and by Insitu, Inc. as a Scan Eagle Level 2 Maintainence Technician.
