Steffen Kuentzel

Steffen Kuentzel has extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering and aerospace. Steffen currently works at Skydweller Aero as the Mechanisms and Actuation Integration Lead since November 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Kitty Hawk, including Senior Mechanical Engineer from February 2019 to November 2022, and Mechanical Engineer from May 2016 to February 2019. Before joining Kitty Hawk, they worked as a Consultant at BeOne Hamburg GmbH from October 2015 to February 2016. Steffen also has experience at Airbus Group, where they served as a Technical Definition Manager for the A330 from September 2013 to September 2015, Development Engineer - Cabin & Cargo from April 2012 to August 2013, and as an Intern in Manufacturing Engineering R&D from September 2011 to March 2012. Steffen Kuentzel began their career as a Project Engineer & Master's Thesis at the University of Applied Sciences Jena from March 2010 to September 2011 and as a Student Researcher from March 2009 to March 2010. Steffen also gained experience at Bosch Rexroth as an Intern & Bachelor's Thesis from March 2008 to August 2008.
