Kristiyan Bogdanov has worked in the software engineering and technology industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Industrial Placement Student at Morgan Stanley, where they delivered security training to developers and non-technical people, successfully delivered several projects written in Java, and improved applications used in production. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Analyst - Technology Infrastructure at Goldman Sachs, where they re-created a metrics platform, implemented a high-performance Non-blocking I/O metrics submission API using Netty 4, and designed and implemented a load balancing solution using HAProxy. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Assistant Vice President, Architect - Technology Infrastructure at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where they advised on authentication and authorization best practices and issues, designed and implemented a Web UI using the React stack, and was involved in improving and managing the lifecycle of the UI. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as Chief Technology Officer & Software Engineer at Game Lounge Bulgaria, where they were responsible for the entire infrastructure and all the tech staff and still actively wrote code. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at SkyFi and a Senior Frontend Developer at Fourth, where they are building, optimizing, and supporting a single page application for the support team of Fuego Application using TypeScript and React, and leading a team of 4 (2 developers and 2 QAs).

Kristiyan Bogdanov obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester in 2014. Kristiyan also holds an ITIL Foundation Level certification from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, obtained in April 2017.
