Mohd Asad

Mohd Asad has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Mohd is currently working at Skyflow as a Lead Engineer since January 2023, where they have taken on a leadership role in the engineering team. Prior to joining Skyflow, they worked at Square as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2021 to December 2022.

Before that, Mohd Asad was employed at RedMart as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2018 to April 2019, and as a Software Engineer II from April 2017 to September 2018. During their time at RedMart, they played a crucial role in building a machine learning model for the competitive pricing team.

In 2015, Mohd Asad co-founded Steero and served as the CTO. At Steero, they aligned the company's technology strategy with its business strategy and developed the technology stack and REST-based services. Mohd also built the customer and partner-side Android apps and established a microservices architectural REST backend.

Prior to Steero, Mohd Asad worked as a Software Engineer at Directi from July 2014 to December 2015. Mohd started their career at the Programming Club, IIT Jodhpur, where they served as a Coordinator from July 2011 to April 2013.

Mohd Asad received their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, from the period of 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Jeevan Marg Sophia Sec School in Deoria for their high school education. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification from Square in September 2019, followed by certifications from Coursera and Udemy in 2018. The Coursera certification was titled "How to Win a Data Science Competition: Learn from Top Kagglers" and the Udemy certification was titled "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp." Additionally, Mohd Asad completed a course titled "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from the University of Washington through Coursera. Although there is mention of completing courses on "Intro to Computer Science" and "Kafka Connect - Hands on learning," the obtained month and year information is not available.
