Afshin Abbasi

Afshin Abbasi is a seasoned data scientist and consultant with extensive experience in data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning techniques, specializing in renewable energy and fluid mechanics. Currently working as a data scientist at Skyfri since April 2022, Abbasi focuses on enhancing solar PV system operations. Previous roles include research positions at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where significant contributions to ship performance assessment and multiphase flow analysis were made. With a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from NTNU and a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Abbasi has a strong foundation in experimental studies and data-driven modeling, demonstrated during tenures in the renewable energy sector.
