Aryaman Samyal

Aryaman Samyal has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. Aryaman started their career as a Robotics Intern at Threye in 2018. Aryaman then worked as an Advance Drone Research senior member at AeroMIT from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, Aryaman interned at Bharat Electronics Limited as an AI Intern and at NewSpace Research and Technologies as an Engineering Project Intern. In 2020, they served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Manipal Institute of Technology, where they focused on aerial object detection using YOLO for IR and RGB images. Aryaman then worked as a Computer Vision Intern at NewSpace Research and Technologies in 2021, where they deployed CV models on edge-computing devices and worked on autonomous geotagging using UAVs. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Third Insight, focusing on computer vision for embedded systems and developing a UAV velocity controller. Aryaman then joined Multi AI as an Applied Research Engineer for a brief period in 2022. Currently, they are working at SkyGrid as a Machine Learning Engineer, starting in 2023.

Aryaman Samyal completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2021. Aryaman then pursued a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin from 2021 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, Aryaman obtained several certifications. Aryaman completed courses such as "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning", both offered by deeplearning.ai in June and May 2020 respectively. Aryaman also completed "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 2)" and "Principles of Computing (Part 1)" at Rice University in April 2020. Aryaman obtained additional certifications in "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 1)" from Rice University in March 2020 and "Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems" from UC Irvine in December 2019. Aryaman completed "Introduction to Programming Using Python" from the University of Michigan in August 2019 and "What is Data Science?" from IBM in May 2019.
