Joseph Duffy

Joseph Duffy has a long and distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry. Joseph began their career in 1996 at Merck, where they held seven positions over the course of their tenure, including Head of External Discovery Chemistry, Executive Director of Medicinal Chemistry, Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry, Director of Medicinal Chemistry, Senior Research Fellow, Research Fellow, and Senior Research Chemist. During this time, they led chemistry project teams that produced eleven clinical candidates in nine years for five therapeutic areas from both internal projects and international collaborative research. In 2020, they joined Skyhawk Therapeutics as Senior Vice President Chemistry.

Joseph Duffy holds a Ph.D in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Harvard University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Kent State University.
