Brett Fisher

Brett Fisher, CFA, has a well-rounded work experience in the financial industry. Brett is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Skyla Federal Credit Union, a role they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the SVP Finance at the same company from July 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining Skyla Federal Credit Union, Brett worked at Founders Federal Credit Union as the VP of Finance from January 2016 to July 2021.

From January 2011 to December 2015, Brett held the position of Principal Credit Union Examiner at NCUA. In this role, they managed an assigned district of both federal-chartered and state-chartered credit unions, ensuring regulatory compliance and financial prudence. Brett also led examination teams and contributed as a Subject Matter Examiner for Capital Market assessments.

Brett's earlier experience includes working at Vanguard as a Client Relationship Associate in the Retail Investor Group from June 2008 to February 2011. Brett gained extensive knowledge of mutual funds, financial markets, tax and regulatory issues, and various investment accounts during their tenure at Vanguard.

Brett Fisher, CFA, began their education in 2004 at North Carolina State University where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Horticultural Science in 2007. Brett then pursued further education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Investment Management in 2009. In 2016, Brett obtained the Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
