Philip Yunsoo Cho

Philip Yunsoo Cho has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Philip Yunsoo began their career as a Marketing Intern at Quote EndQuote Cross-Cultural Strategy Inc. in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at Mansouri Design. The following year, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Front Row Insurance Brokers Inc. and a Communication and Marketing Intern at Gateway Theatre BC. In 2015, they worked as a Cuepath Innovation Market Research Intern and a Marketing Intern at Gateway Theatre BC. In 2021, they began working at OneCup AI as a Computer Vision Software Engineer, where they created a Machine Learning backend system, trained and optimized various computer vision models, constructed a Javascript-based video player, and developed a virtual environment in Unreal Engine to create synthetic data. Philip Yunsoo is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Skylab Technologies Inc.

Philip Yunsoo Cho received their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the UBC Sauder School of Business in 2016, with a major in Marketing. Philip Yunsoo then pursued a Master's degree in Computing Science with a Visual Computing Specialization from Simon Fraser University, which they completed in 2021.
