Christian Ellenwood

Christian Ellenwood is a distinguished Professor of Music at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, where responsibilities include teaching studio clarinet, music composition, and music theory, in addition to performance as a soloist and chamber musician. With a rich performance background, Christian serves as Principal Clarinet for the Woodstock Mozart Festival and performs regularly with Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Ballet, Bel Canto of Milwaukee, and the Madison Symphony Orchestra, among others. Academic credentials include a BM with Highest Distinction from the Eastman School of Music, an MM from Indiana University Bloomington, and a DMA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, each specializing in clarinet performance.
