Mike Moroney

Mike Moroney is the President of Skyline Systems. Prior to this, they were the President and CEO of Lumenal Lighting from January 2012 to December 2019. Lumenal Lighting is a privately held company with 75+ employees that designs and installs lighting systems for government, commercial, and industrial facilities in Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. Projects that Mike Moroney oversaw during their time at Lumenal Lighting include the field lights at Safeco Field, the Mauna Kea Observatory on the Island of Hawaii, and the Everett Naval Station.

As President of Lumenal Lighting, Mike Moroney led all aspects of the company, including sales and marketing strategy, production, process improvement, personnel development, and financial controls. Mike motivated the entire workforce through 5 direct reports. Some of their accomplishments include re-directing the customer focus from commercial markets to Energy Service Companies to improve revenue growth as well as expand geographical markets, rebranding the company to address a more specific customer base which led to strengthening client relationships and a more cohesive marketing effort, and hiring and developing team members to improve teamwork and information flow enabling much improved financial results. These efforts doubled revenues over a six-year period while improving profit margins.

Mike Moroney's educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington. Mike then pursued an MBA in Business from the University of Washington.
