Rohan Abeyesundere

Rohan Abeyesundere is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in computer networking and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Computer Network Specialist at the Developmental Disability Administration within the Maryland Department of Health since April 2019, Rohan specializes in Windows server and Active Directory. Concurrently, Rohan has held positions as a Systems Engineer and System Engineer at Skyline Technology Solutions since 2016, focusing on VMware virtualization and database management with Oracle and SQL Server. Rohan's long-standing role at the Maryland Department of the Environment has involved leading a team responsible for managing the agency's complex computer network and database systems since July 1997. Additionally, Rohan has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor, teaching chemistry at Montgomery College and Anne Arundel Community College. Rohan holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Maryland.
