Joshua LaFrance has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and interactive media development. Joshua currently works as an Engineering Manager at Skymap Games, where they lead engineers in the development of various games on platforms like PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC. Joshua'sresponsibilities include optimizations, debugging, and ensuring efficiency in game development.
Prior to their current role, Joshua worked at Petricore, Inc as an Interactive Media Developer. Joshua worked independently on internal and external projects, collaborating with clients to develop and launch applications. Joshua was also selected as a representative of Petricore for the Bose AR Game Jam.
Before joining Petricore, Joshua had an internship at MassDiGI, where they served as a Lead Programmer for Hyper Thunder Run 198X. Joshua used their mastery of Unity to communicate with the art team and create new features for the game. Joshua also assisted other team members in learning the engine and improved team efficiency through the implementation of programming standards.
Joshua also had a role as a Lead Programmer at White Snake Projects, where they created an app utilizing current AR technology as a companion to an Opera. Joshua successfully managed communication between remote teams throughout the project.

Joshua LaFrance attended NHTI, Concord's Community College from 2013 to 2015. Joshua did not earn a degree or specialize in any field of study during this time. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Becker College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Game Programming and Development.
