Dean Clarke

Dean Clarke has a diverse work experience starting in 2014 as a Student Ambassador for Aberystwyth University. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Research Studentship, assisting a university lecturer with research projects. Dean also worked as a Store Collegue at Lidl UK and a Production Operative at Rachel's Dairy. In 2016, they were a Warehouse Operative at DHL Sainsburys and had two roles at the University of Southampton, including MPhil Student and Lightwave (Outreach) Officer. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at IBM as a Research Software Engineer and Software Developer. In 2021, they joined Babcock International Group as a Senior Software Engineer and later moved to Rebellion Defense for the same role. Currently, they are a Technology Lead at Skyports Infrastructure.

Dean Clarke earned a degree in Physics from Aberystwyth University in 2016. Dean then pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Design and Simulation of Quantum Single Photon Devices (Physics) at the University of Southampton from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Dean has obtained several certifications, including ones in Scrum and Agile Basics, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning, among others, from institutions such as IBM, Udemy, and Coursera.
