Saadat Abid has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and embedded systems. Saadat started their career at Powersoft19 in 2011 as an Embedded Systems Engineer, where they designed and implemented safety critical applications on various MCUs. Saadat also provided support to clients during QA, V&V, and certification processes. Saadat then served as a Technical Team Lead at Powersoft19 from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, they joined E4 Technologies as a Technical Team Lead, where they contributed to the design and development of embedded applications on Cortex-M4 MCU-based products. Saadat also managed resources during the development and testing phase.

Saadat then moved to u-blox in 2016 and held two roles during their time there. As a Senior Specialist Engineer, they were responsible for the development of layer 2 of the LTE air interface protocol stack and developed Python scripts for testing cellular system components. Later, as a Staff Engineer, they designed and implemented software solutions, conducted feasibility analysis, developed tests, and provided technical documentation. Saadat efficiently managed multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Currently, Saadat is working as a Principal Software Engineer at SlashNext, Inc. Since 2019, they have been leading a team of engineers to deliver SlashNext's threat intelligence APIs and their integrations with various TI, SOAR, and SIEM platforms. Saadat'swork involves utilizing SDKs and RESTful APIs provided by these platforms.

Saadat Abid completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore between 2005 and 2009. Prior to that, they pursued their intermediate education from Govt. Islamia College Civil-lines Lahore, where they obtained a F.Sc. degree in Engineering during the years 2003 to 2005.
