Miranda McNeilly

Miranda McNeilly is a Senior Civil Estimator at Slayden Constructors Inc. since January 2021, where responsibilities include determining project overhead costs and creating project schedules. Previously, as a Civil Estimator, Miranda conducted quantity take offs and built cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment plants. Prior experience includes roles at Kiewit, where Miranda held positions as Engineer 2 and Engineer 1—Estimator, focusing on 3D modeling, quantity take offs, and mentoring interns. Miranda began a career in engineering as an intern at the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, where tasks involved cost estimation and project planning. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and has a strong foundation in civil engineering from Cuyamaca College and Elmwood Park High School.
