Phillip Skahan

Phillip Skahan has a diverse work experience in the field of process engineering and research. Phillip started their career at UC Santa Barbara as a Graduate Student Researcher, where they focused on the design and development of active photonic integrated circuits for optical communication systems. Phillip worked under the supervision of Professor Daniel Blumenthal and was involved in various aspects of the research, including design, simulation, fabrication, characterization, and testing.

After completing their PhD, Phillip Skahan joined KYOCERA SLD Laser as a Process Development Engineer.
