Tristan Liu has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Tristan started their career as a Cinematic Modeling and Surfacing Intern at Blizzard Entertainment in 2013. From there, they joined Blizzard Entertainment again in 2014 as an Associate Character Modeling Artist. In 2015, Tristan joined DeepMotion as a 3D Artist and later became the Lead 3D Artist. Their most recent role at DeepMotion was held until 2019. In 2019, Tristan joined Sledgehammer Games as a Character Artist and was later promoted to Senior Character Artist in February 2022.
Tristan Liu completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects from the Communication University of China in 2010. Tristan then pursued further education and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in the same field at the Rochester Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2015.
