Ashwani Chand

Ashwani Chand has a strong background in accounts receivable and credit and collections. Ashwani worked as a Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist at Sleeman Breweries Ltd. from October 2017 to the present, where they reconciled and audited a portfolio of 400 business accounts and worked with management on bad debt forecasting. Prior to that, they worked at Sage for over 11 years as a Senior Credit and Collections Analyst, handling various responsibilities such as account reconciliations, collections reports, customer service, and negotiating payment arrangements. Ashwani also had previous experience as a Credit Specialist at ACCPAC from April 2004 to March 2005.

Ashwani Chand earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from The University of the South Pacific, which they completed from 1991 to 1993. Ashwani then pursued a Diploma in Accounting and Business/Management from CDI College, graduating in 2003. From 2003 to 2005, Ashwani attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Diploma in Financial Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Ashwani achieved a certification in Learning Acrobat Reader DC from LinkedIn in May 2020.
