Ludwig Batista

Ludwig Batista has extensive work experience in the brewing industry. Ludwig started their career at AmBev in 1994 as an Industrial Specialist, specializing in brewing. Ludwig worked at AmBev until 2000. In 2001, they joined Canada Malting Company Ltd. as a QA and Technical Services Manager, where they worked until 2004. In 2005, they joined Sleeman Breweries Ltd., starting as a Brewmaster and Brewing Production Manager and gradually progressing through various roles. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations at Sleeman Breweries Ltd.

Ludwig Batista has pursued various degrees and diplomas throughout their education. Ludwig first attended Saint Mary's University, where they obtained their MBA with a specialization in Strategy and General Management. Following this, they studied at SENAIs in Brazil, where they earned a Technical Diploma in Brewing and Malting Science. Later, they enrolled at the Siebel Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Diploma in Brewing and Malting Technology. Lastly, Ludwig attended the Universidade Federal de Viçosa and completed their B.Sc. in Agronomy, specializing in Agricultural Engineering.
