Andy Markham has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1997, they were the VP of Engineering & Operations at RelevantKnowledge, where they built and led the technology division. Andy then moved on to Media Metrix in 1998 as the VP of Technology Operations, responsible for engineering and producing the flagship audience ratings product. In 2000, they became the VP of New Product Development at Jupiter Media Metrix, working closely with major players in the industry. Andy joined Pivia in 2003 as the VP of Product Engineering and Deployment Support, managing product development and providing product direction. After that, they worked as an Independent Consultant before joining Affinity Labs in 2007 as the VP of Engineering, where they matured the engineering team and facilitated the company's acquisition by Monster Worldwide. At Monster, Andy served as the VP of Technology, overseeing multiple teams and web platforms. Andy then joined Healthline Media in 2016 as the SVP of Technology, where they rebuilt the engineering function and implemented a remote-first culture. In 2020, they became the Vice President of Engineering at Sauce Labs before taking on the role of CTO at Sleep Doctor in 2023.
Andy Markham completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1986 to 1990. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1992.
