Sunny Yen

Sunny Yen has a wealth of experience in product design and user experience. From 2006 to 2019, Sunny has worked for a variety of companies, including Isobar, Xenoid, Inc., Life360, Rentfox, LLC, MobiTV, Storm8, Verizon, Mercari, Inc., Shipt, and Sleeper. At Isobar, Sunny worked as a Manager/Strategist in the Korea branch, consulting and producing information architecture documents for global brands. At Xenoid, Inc., Sunny served as Creative Consulting Manager, creating information architecture and interaction documents for Everland. Sunny's roles at Life360, Rentfox, LLC, MobiTV, and Storm8 were Creative Director, Sr. UI/Product Designer, UI Designer, and Sr. UX Design Lead at New Product & Development/Innovation Center, respectively. At Verizon, Sunny was responsible for creating and implementing key UI/UX work across various products and experiences. At Mercari, Inc., Sunny was Lead UX Designer, helping to define and drive the future of Mercari e-commerce product design. Finally, at Shipt and Sleeper, Sunny held the role of Director of Product Design.

Sunny Yen completed a Professional Sequence in Graphic Design from UC Berkeley Extension between 2012 and 2014. Sunny then obtained a Masters in Industrial Design from the University of Seoul between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they participated in an Education Abroad Program in Mass Communications at the University of California, Berkeley from 1998 to 2000.
