Andrew C.

Andrew C. has worked in various roles in the tech and finance industries since 2007. At Statistics Canada, they were a Research Analyst and Survey Analyst in the Producer Prices Division and a Recruit Analyst in the Industrial Organization and Finance Division. In 2014, they joined MD Financial Management | Gestion financière MD as a Lead in Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Science. In 2018, they moved to Slice Labs and has since held the roles of Director of Engineering, Director of Data Science, and Lead of Data Science. In these roles, they have managed engineering and data science teams, built and maintained an enterprise-wide data ecosystem, and implemented predictive analytics and data science projects. Andrew has also represented Slice's Data Science teams with external partners and driven new product development.

Andrew C. completed a Master of Arts in Economics from Carleton University from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Saskatchewan between 2002 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications, including a Tableau Server Certified Associate from Tableau Software in June 2018, a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate from Tableau Software in October 2016, a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer from SAS in April 2016, a SAS Certified Base Programmer from SAS in January 2014, and a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in November 2017.
