Armando Acosta

Armando Acosta has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Their most recent position was as a Senior Financial Analyst at Operto, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Cymax Group Technologies as a Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A department from February 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Cymax Group Technologies, Acosta held the position of Financial Analyst at International Motorsports from June 2020 to February 2021. Armando also served as a Financial Manager in the Wholesale Bank & Derivatives Division at Banco Santander Mexico from November 2012 to August 2017.

Acosta gained significant experience as a Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis at IPAB from June 2011 to October 2012. Armando previously worked at BBVA Bancomer, where they held multiple roles including Senior Financial Analyst in the Wholesale & Derivatives Division from June 2009 to May 2011, and Risk Analyst in the Market Risk Division from July 2007 to May 2009.

Their early career included a role as a Risk Analyst at Analitica Consultores from July 2006 to June 2007. Acosta's work experience demonstrates their expertise in financial analysis, planning, and risk management within the finance industry.

Armando Acosta began their educational journey in the field of Economics at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree from 2000 to 2006. After several years, they decided to enhance their knowledge and skills by obtaining a Master's degree in International Banking and Finance from Edinburgh Napier University. Armando successfully completed this program from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Armando Acosta also pursued professional development and obtained the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) from the Canadian Securities Institute in July 2020.
