Jaskaran Mann

Jaskaran Mann has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

In 2013, they co-founded Geekoz IT Club and served as a co-founder until 2015.

In 2016, they worked as a Crew Member at Wendy's for a brief period before transitioning to security roles. Jaskaran worked as a Security Officer at Paladin Security Group Ltd for two months and then became a Site Supervisor at Cypress Security from August 2016 to May 2017.

In 2017, Jaskaran worked as a Chef at Mucho Burrito - Fresh Mexican Grill and later became a Dispatch Supervisor at Bel Air Taxi from January 2017 to August 2018.

Starting from 2018, Jaskaran worked as a Transportation Manager at Alouette Transit Systems LTD until August 2021.

In 2021, they joined Shaw Communications as a Technical Support Representative from May to October, before moving on to work at Operto. At Operto, they first served as a Customer Success Technical Specialist from October 2021 to July 2022, and currently holds the position of a Customer Support Engineer.

Jaskaran Mann completed their schooling from St. Cecilia's Public School from 2003 to 2015, specializing in Non-Medical Science with Computer Science. In 2015, they obtained their Higher Secondary Examination certification from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Jaskaran then enrolled in Douglas College from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued a Computing Studies and Information Systems Diploma with a field of study in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications. These include the Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum for Healthcare from HEABC, Basic Security Training from the Ministry of Justice Canada, IELTS certification from the British Council, Occupational First Aid Level 1 from WorkSafeBC, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute, and a Security Licence Worker certification from the Province of British Columbia.
