Nicola Graham

Nicola Graham has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nicola started their career as a Varsity Field Hockey Student-Athlete at Northeastern University in 2009. Following that, they worked as an Event Planning COOP Student at Harvard Medical School, where they assisted with general office duties and social media management.

In 2013, Nicola joined 3STEP Sports, LLC as an Event Manager, responsible for managing events and engaging with youth athletes across different states. Nicola also worked as an Academic Assistant and Student-Athlete Tutor at Northeastern University, helping student-athletes with course material and study techniques.

Nicola later joined Attend.com as an Event Specialist, supporting event planners with event management software. Nicola then transitioned to Yervana, a platform connecting adventure-seekers with local hosts, where they held the role of Manager of Community Development.

In 2020, Nicola joined Quay Property Management Corp. as part of their Events & Programming team. Nicola was responsible for organizing and executing events.

From 2021 to 2023, Nicola worked at Yervana again, this time as a Human Resources Manager and in Corporate Adventures and Partnerships. In these roles, they managed HR functions and developed partnerships for the company.

Currently, Nicola works at Operto Guest Technologies as a Partner Marketing Manager, where they lead marketing initiatives with key partners.

Nicola Graham completed their Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communication from Northeastern University from 2009 to 2013. Nicola then pursued further education in 2022, obtaining a degree in Digital Innovation & Leadership from BrainStation, with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations.

Prior to their university education, Nicola attended West Vancouver Secondary School up until 2009. The details of their degree and field of study during this time are not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Nicola has obtained several certifications. Nicola completed courses such as Managing Conflict in Sport, Teaching & Learning, Making Headway in Sport (twice), and Ethical Decision Making from the Coaching Association of Canada. Nicola also obtained certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR and AED from the Canadian Red Cross and attended courses on Managing Avalanche Terrain, Advanced Wilderness & Remote First Aid & CPR/AED Level C, and Avalanche Safety Training - Level 1, offered by West Coast Educational Adventures and Coast Wilderness Medical Training respectively.
