Annabel Butcher

Annabel Butcher, PhD is currently a Patent Attorney trainee at Slingsby Partners LLP. Prior to this role, Annabel worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science, focusing on research related to highly-lubricated surfaces for aqueous and biological environments to advance cartilage tissue engineering practices. Annabel also completed their PhD in Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, where Annabel designed and tested biocompatible materials for cartilage tissue engineering scaffolds. Throughout their career, Annabel has held various internships and placements in engineering-related roles, showcasing their expertise and dedication to the field.
